Minor girl recovered, kidnapper arrested in Budgam | KNO

Budgam, May 28 (KNO): Budgam Police on Thursday claimed to have recovered a minor girl and also arrested a kidnapper within four in Central Kashmir's Beerwah area of Budgam district. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Police Station Beerwah received a complaint that a minor girl (name with held) was kidnapped by one Muhammad Amin Ganie, son of Ali Muhammad Ganie of Dassan Budgam. An official said that acting on the specific inputs, the accused was arrested and the girl was recovered within four hours after receiving the complaint in this reagrd. A police officer said that a case under FIR number 131/2020 was registered and further investigation into the matter has been started—(KNO)
